Attorney Ryan Langley has been elected to the Board of Governors for the International Society of Barristers (ISOB).
Created in 1965, the ISOB is committed to preserving trial by jury, independent judiciary and the adversary system. The organization was founded to bring together the top trial attorneys in a setting devoid of partisan interests. With an emphasis on professional fellowship between plaintiffs' and defendants’ advocates, ISOB makes it possible to consider issues of ethics, the role of litigation in society, and excellence in advocacy.
Membership in the Society consists of Fellows of the Society, who are dedicated to the highest ethical standards in professional and personal relationships. The inclusion of members’ spouses and partners as full participants of the Society is a hallmark of ISOB.
The Society has limited membership but has Fellows from every state, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia, as well as Ireland, England, Canada, and Australia.
